Throughout the week, The Employer Engagement Team have invited an array of External Speakers from all Industries, some of which include - Construction, Beauty, Business and Childcare. Employers will speak with groups of students, giving them some real industry insights. Some Employers will be starting placement opportunities immediately, so it is a chance for students who are work-ready, to secure their work placements.
Tuesday 8th November Speed interview Event

We have invited employers to engage in a networking event with students, this will then follow on to a speed interview session with students across all curriculum areas.
The purpose of the session is to support students in preparing for interviews, giving them a Taster of what ‘live’ interviews are like. This will be a fun interactive session, where students can develop interview and other employability skills, as well as break down barriers they may have when applying for placements/employment. Also a great opportunity to find out what employers are really looking for.
Wednesday 9th November Pop Up Fair

We have 31 Employers confirmed to attend our Pop our fair, it will be a fantastic opportunity for students to build their professional networks with local employers and for employers to promote and raise awareness of their Business’. Students can discuss placement opportunities and gain further insights of industry. All groups are invited, please encourage your students to attend!
